Don't Get Between X-23 and Sailor Saturn!

So what happens when X-23 meets Sailor Saturn!? Don't get in the middle of that! Actually, they were both totally super-cool...! LOL. I can't remember what I said, but we were all trying to keep a straight face... :) Both cosplayers were tremendous - and gracious, and hugely popular... a truly awesome AVCON team-up! Dr Mrs The Monarch and Me!

 So I practically ran over when I saw Dr Mrs The Monarch at AVCON!
"I'm surprised you know who I am!"
"Oh... I know who you are!"
Seems the kids today might not be so familiar with the immaculate masterpiece that is "The Venture Bros."! So anyway we had a chat about the usual 'Venture Bros." problems; why don't more people know and rave about it, given that everyone who sees it LOVES IT, and why don't they hurry up with the new season!? It's not so bad because it's one of those shows that is just endlessly re-watchable...
Anyway, this was an awesome cosplay and it was a delight to chat with Dr Mrs The Monarch!

So when I was researching my next book, 'Apricot Fox and the Cats of Saturn' ‪#‎apricotfox‬ (writing now!) I needed to know the toughest role on Broadway. This led me to Elphaba in ‪#‎wickedmusical‬... and of course ‪#‎wicked‬ itself, which is amazing!
